So many missed opportunities
It works fine and does what it says. But I cannot help seeing the missed opportunities:
No support for Shortcuts and Siri:
even cheap Chinese apps allow setting up shortcuts for common controls. I don’t want to put google microphones all over my home just to turn on the coffee machine. Automatically turning it on when I get up would be easy with shortcuts.
Favorites function is too limited to be useful: neither schedules nor added options are remembered. I run my dishwasher in the night. So I can select the eco programme, set it to finish by 7am and save it as a favorite. What got saved is only the eco programme, but the time is forgotten and I have to set it manually every time I run it. Time saving from using a favorite? Zero.
Once a month or so I get logged out and have to reenter my password, usually in the middle of using the app.
Safety limitations that make it Impractical and LESS safe. I had a Home Connect cooktop and ended up returning it and getting a cheaper model instead. Why? You cannot do anything useful. All adjustments are locked for safety, unless you then confirm them on the device. Guess what: it takes less time to set them manually in the first place. Best joke: you can’t even turn it OFF remotely. So you’ll know you forgot the boiling milk but cannot do anything about it.
